Read-a-thon Hours 7-8

Posted 18 April, 2009 by Trish in Reading Nook / 17 Comments

Since last update:
Pages: 53 (Catch Me If You Can)
Time: 55 minutes
20 minute run

pages read
295 minutes reading
110 minutes blogging
50 blogs visited
1 book finished (The Outsiders)
2 caffeine beverages
3 mini challenges
20 minutes exercise

How you guys doing?? Is time flying for you as well? I’m a little tired but managing.

Decided to take a brief run, so I didn’t get as much read this hour and probably won’t spend as much time blogging/commenting as usual. What am I listening to? See video below for a little groove time.

  1. Good for you–going running! I should do that, but I don’t want to have to take ANOTHER shower. Maybe later tonight…

I missed the hour 7 mini-challenge to take a walk and take a picture. I’m really sad because I like that one a LOT! Oh well.

  2. Yes times flying pretty fast for me. I’m bummed that i can’t do all 24 hours this time. I’ll miss mini-challenges and chances for prizes and extra reading time. Grr.

  3. Great song – brings back memories of family road trips.

Do you listen to music while you read? Haven’t decided if that’s a distraction, or a distraction from distractions. Does that make sense?

  4. Wow! I’m actually more impressed that you managed to visit 50 blogs!!! I’m cheering today, but am totally impressed by your blog-visiting superpowers. :) Good luck with your continued reading. Looks like you’re having fun!

  5. You’re doing great! I don’t know how you manage ot read *and* cheerlead. Cheerleading is harder for me than I thought it would be (I’m trying to visit every blog participating and it takes a lot of time).

Good luck with the rest of the read-a-thon and have fun!

  6. I can’t believe how fast the day is going. It’s almost 4 pm here. Good for you going on a run. I found going out in the cool air here helped some. I’m just blog hopping now a bit and I’ll be back later to check on you.

Have just found your blog – keep up the reading, you’re doing great! :) that’s one of my fave running songs, too.
