Did you really expect me to be Wordless when it's been days since I've posted? All is well, just busy doing other things--like lazing around on the couch watching Anne of Green Gables and cutting fabric for my quilt. Thought with everyone Bloggiesta-ing last weekend I'd take a break and do non-blogging/bookish things for a few days.
Annnnnyway. Scott was flipping through my pictures on my iPhone the other day and I realized that I take a lot of freakin' random pictures. Do you with your phone? Here are a couple of the earlier ones (all several years old). After posting these I realize that probably no one cares but me, but too late now!! Ha!

ReplyDeleteI'm jealous of your gas prices. We were in for a shock when we moved to Scotland. It's about $7 per gallon here. Yikes!
I take random pics too. :-) Wait till baby arrives, most will have her in them!! I love the one of angry you, think I'll do the same for proof sometime when I'm mad at Joe!!

ReplyDelete*Hi Everyone! - Thanks for your comments. I admit to using the camera function on my phone mostly to text pictures to Scott or other family members which is why I tend to have so many random pictures. They're fun to look back on and plenty more where these came from!

Yes, I have tons of randoms on my phone too, but mostly of Emma. Like the one where she was picking her nose...
ReplyDeleteWhen I had Emma gas was around $1.30ish. I have it written down in her baby book. I know that isn't the best proof, but I remember saying that I was okay if it stayed at $1.50/gallon. You need to remember to write stuff like that down when you have the baby. There was a whole list of items that I put the current price, and it will be neat to look back when she is older.

ReplyDeleteThese are so fun! I have a ton of these on my own phone. I tend to snap a quick picture with my phone to commemorate a moment during which I don't have my actual camera, so I have some pretty bizarre pictures on it. I need to go through mine!

ReplyDelete*Carol - When I plug my phone into my computer to sync it asks me if I want to upload the picture. BUT, out of 400 it only uploaded about 100...most of these I had to email to myself!

*Care - As I mention to Carol above, my phone asks if I want to upload the pictures when I plug it in to sync. Just like it would when I plug in my camera. But my mom was saying hers doesn't do this and she doesn't know how to get the pictures off? Weird. But I would love to see your random shots! Next time I'll try to include some of the more random ones. ;)
*Brooke - I think for Emma's birthday post you should list out the prices you jotted down when she was born!! I saved the one of Emma picking her nose onto my phone as well. Ha!
*Viv - Why I have that picture, I'm not sure--there are a couple evidencing the "mouth" shoes.
*Erin - Strangely I take most of my pictures so that I can send them to people--usually my husband if he's not with me. Proof that it really did happen, I guess. ;)
*Melody - OF COURSE! I'd love to see people's random pictures!!

ReplyDeleteI think you will find that when you have baby most of the pictures on your phone will end up being of her. The phone is more likely to be around when they are being adorable than your camera. In regards to Brooke comment, at the Hallmark stores, they have baby books that you can record all different sorts of info. You don't think that you would really care in a couple years, but you would be surprised all that changes. When I had Emmory, gas was almost $4.00/gallon here. Even since Ellie was born a ton of things have changed...

*Softdrink - It is a real sad smile. I loved being a blonde (was my whole life) but my hair grows so quickly and I was too lazy and cheap to pay for the maintenance. So most of the time I had terrible roots. I still think of myself as a blonde, but sadly my hair just keeps getting darker and darker. :(
I don't have a cord that plugs my phone into my PC for syncing! am I supposed to? I just have a cheapy lazy phone anyway and am thinking about going even less-functional to save money. Nobody needs to call or text me anyway. (just tweet at me :) if you want my attn!)
