5.19.2012 – Sixth Anniversary

Today Scott and I celebrate six years of marriage. I loved this man six years ago but what I feel for him now is so much more than love. What a blessing our life together has been. It has twisted and turned in ways that I couldn’t have imagined and I can’t wait to see where the road of life takes us. As long as we’re together it will certainly be the best adventure.

What I would give to know what we’re thinking in the picture above!

  1. Hi Trish!!!! A Very Happy Anniversary… and what an awesome..loveable click :)
I hope you have loads of years of togetherness ahead :)

  2. Congrats you guys!! Here is to many more beautiful years together! PS great picture. Looks like it comes from a bridal magazine.

Happy Anniversary! Congratulations on 6 great years and best wishes for many, many more.
    Love the photo, it’s great!

So traditionally the 6th Anniversary was gifts of candy or iron?! In modern times the gifts for the 6th year involve wood! I s’pose that’s furniture of some kind.
I hope you two have a fun romantic day and night!

  4. Happy anniversary! You look exactly the same but Scott looks so much younger! Have you really aged him that much – lol?!

Love this photo!! You both look so adorable and head-over-heels in love. Hmm, 6th anniversary = iron. New bikes (with or without motors)? :)

It takes more love to share the saddle than it does to share the bed. ~Author Unknown

Here’s to many, many more years of love & laughter.

  6. Thank you all so much for the happy wishes and your sweet comments. Every day I truly feel blessed to have Scott as my partner. :)

  7. Wow, congrats you guys. That is truly amazing. You guys seem like an awesome couple, wish we lived closer, I think the four of us would be besties. :-)

  8. Happy Anniversary. People who have been happily married for long periods of time truly see their partner as their best friend and see something special in whoever they have married. My parents have been married 38 years and they really are each others best friend. Here’s to many more years of wedded bliss.

  9. Happy Belated Anniversary! That’s a lovely picture!!

PS: Sorry I’ve not been commenting too much on blogs lately… work has been on my mind!

  10. *Thank you guys for your sweet comments! And I absolutely agree about the comments about your partner being your best friend.

*Melody – no need to apologize–I know you must have a lot on your mind. Thinking about you! xx

  11. Such a sweet photo. Love the expressions on both your faces and that wedding gown is gorgeous. Whatever you were thinking I’m sure it was something very naive about marriage, LOL!
