Les - The picture was taken during a short little hike on the Road to Hana in Maui. Elle loved being in the carrier but obviously had no interest in having her picture taken. ;)
I kinda like it! I hate photos that are perfectly posed. And the "awkward" ones will be the most fun for your little one when she gets older. I have an awful family photo of us, circa 1972, in which we're all stiffly posed wearing these very '70s matching multicolored vests Mom had made for all of us. Hideous but, somehow, so precious to me. :)
