I'm not really sure when I picked up my copy of Vanity Fair. Yeeeeeeeeeeeears ago. Or is it yeaaaaaaaaaaaars ago?
Anyway, when I put it on my Classics Club list the lovely Melissa from Avid Reader's Musings suggested we co-host a readalong this year.
So that's what we're doing beginning February 15th and we want YOU to join us!! We'll be reading it over a month long period and it'll be lots and lots of fun. My copy is 809 pages (it's the cover to the right in the button) and after Bleak House 809 pages feels like a breeze!

Plus it's more fun when we're all holding hands. (shhhh, speaking of hand holding, a group of us are also reading The Shining beginning Feb 1)

ReplyDeleteI will most likely be joining :) I've been reading the book since October and am nowhere near halfway, it continues to be daunting. Mid February is far enough away to plan, too.

ReplyDeleteI really want to do both this and the Shining, but I don't know if I can handle them at the same time. I think I could manage if I did one as audio (as I only have one Audible credit right now) and read the other. Hmm...decisions. And I love the hashtag. I want to join just so I can use it.

You know, I was just thinking how relatively uncommitted my reading schedule is.... and Vanity Fair is on my shelf (TBR Double Dog Dare) and on my Classics Club list. How can I refuse? I started reading this years ago with a Yahoo group, fell behind, and gave up. I wonder if there is a good audio version. Off to investigate...
